As her contribution to this unique exhibit (see post Shoes for Carmen), Ursula Mascaró gave her Carmen a high-heel pump covered in a smooth orange satin on the outside and a contrasting black and white polka dot lining on the inside. Well balanced between the heel and the rounded toe, this shoe exudes confidence and joie de vivre. The lace and ribbon trimmings, especially the gathered satin ankle laces and the flirty bow on the front, soften the look by making it more sensual. A little bit of French influence, perhaps?
