It’s fashion show season and the international fashion gurus are gathered in New York City for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. On the program is the Fall-Winter 2014-15 season. It’s interesting how the fashion world works. The groundhog just predicted another six weeks of winter (at least here in Eastern Canada), the summer is still a vague thought, but the designers are already unveiling next winter’s stuff.
The weather is proving a bit of a challenge: New York, like the rest of the East Coast of North America, is experiencing an unusually cold and snowy winter. The stores are running out of winter boots and even the fashion show attendees have had to tone down the stilettos and resort to wearing something more ice and slush-proof.

Spain has had a successful showing, with Delpozo widely admired and Desigual, the newbie, continuing to receive favorable reviews. Both Delpozo and Desigual design their own footwear.
