Maians summer campaign this year is called “Life Walkers“. The initiative is geared towards building a global community of Maians fans. If you view life as a great adventure, “Life Walkers” is about you. From its seat near the famous Barceloneta beach, the company is reaching out to Maians wearers all over the world. Their message is: wherever your Maians take you, we want to hear your story. To find out more about Maians‘ “Life Walkers” campaign, click here.
I haven’t sent in my pictures yet, but I definitely subscribe to the “Life Walker” mindset. Maybe that is why I enjoy wearing my Maians so much.
I like to share my love for Maians with everyone I know. Here is a friend, Israeli artist Nadia Annenkov, hanging out by the sea after a walk through the ancient port of Jaffa in Tel-Aviv in her new mint-green”Fatima” sneakers by Maians.
I love Nadia’s beautiful outfit in the picture. And she tells me that she is loving her Maians!
Here are my favorites from Maians Spring-Summer 2016 women’s collection:
I am really liking the “Sisto” cotton lace up sneaker this year. Especially when it is made of natural color cotton upper with a cool, Mediterranean summer inspired design on the sides.
Slip-on sneakers are as popular as ever. Practically everyone in the leisure footwear business is making them. It’s only Maians, however, that has a slip-on made of durable cotton mesh. I love the contrasting beige trimming. It really sets off the navy.
White sports-style sneakers are both a classic and a huge trend this season. You almost never go wrong with a pair of white sneakers. Maians responded with this amazing mesh lace-up sports sneaker featuring two different types of cotton weave. It has a very compact look, four pairs of lace eyelets, and a slight wedge. A total hit, in my opinion!
A couple of old favorites in new stunning colors:
